Konnichiwa and welcome to deontée.com,

As you’ve probably guessed by now, I’m Deontée Gordon — the owner of this website. So, who am I? In short, I’m an American with deep-south roots who has a love for medium-rare steaks, sushi, social media, and entrepreneurship. But before we get into more of that, let me tell you a little about myself.

My first significant venture in online marketing and entrepreneurship came in late 2003. I was 20 at the time. It was then that I launched my mobile content and ringtone website soonamy.com on Christmas Day.

Before then, I was doing affiliate marketing. I was making a few hundred bucks here and there… Not bad for a college student.

But, it wasn’t until I decide to “make my own money” that things really started to take off. That little ringtone site ended up making me thousands.

At the same time, I was working as a leasing consultant in an enormous, 632-bed (it’s funny how I still remember the figures to this day) apartment complex just off campus.

I thouroughly enjoyed my “corporate” job and my life as an online entrepreneur. Meeting students and parents from all over the globe allowed me tap into my passion for meeting people and building relationships…

That First Bite from the Entrepreneurial Bug

Creating a successful online business also gave me permission to explore my passion for entrepreneurship… (A “bug” that first bit me at 7 years old when I started selling artwork to kids on my school bus. I didn’t beat kids up for their lunch money; I just sold them things to get it.)

In August 2005, I decided to sell my mobile content business. It was around this time that a good friend of mine drug me kicking and screaming introduced me to a new social networking site called TheFacebook (the site’s original name).

There’s Something Different about Facebook

I was reluctant to use it at first (I hate “trendy” things and other social networks at that time were lame and hokey). But, I soon realized that Facebook was headed in a different direction. It didn’t take long before I saw the potential in it.

And with the emergence of social media principles and concepts, I was soon using Facebook to merge, both, my passion for people with that of entrepreneurship.

With Facebook and other social networking sites, I’ve forged powerful connections with many wealthy people (including some millionaires), created profitable joint ventures, and built enthusiastic communities.

So, why am I telling you all of this?

Because I wanted to assure you that everything I’ll share with you comes from first-hand knowledge and experience. Personally, I have a serious problem telling people to do things that I haven’t done myself.

I draw upon each venture, setback, and success to give you the best services and results I can humanly deliver. I know what works, I know what doesn’t. And in this economy, every financial decision should be a well thought out and prudent one.

You should know what you’re getting before you sign on the dotted line. And more importantly, you should know WHO you’re getting as well.

That said, If you’re interested in getting what you REALLY want - more clients, more customers, and more cash - then click this link so I can find out what I can do to help you and your business.
